An infusion is a process used with various plant materials that have chemicals dissolveable in water, oil or alcohol. The plant source material are used as follows. Water etc is boiled and then poured over the herb, which is then allowed to steep in the liquid for a period of time. The liquid is then be strained of solids and ingested or topically applied.
